What are the costs of renting our holiday villa “Time Out” ?

Vakantie Villa - Terras

The rent of our holiday villa amounts to 850 euros per week for a maximum of 6 persons. As our villa is equipped for 10 people we charge an extra 70 euros per week for each additional person over 1 year of age. (so babies up to the age of 1 are free).

In addition, you can also rent our guest-home (equipped for 2 people) for 185 euros per week.

This means you can come with 10 grown-ups plus baby or toddler.

An additional amount of 25 euros per week is charged for the daily cleaning of the villa.

Moreover we ask for a deposit of 500 euros which will immediately be refunded (minus possible expenses) after your holiday.

As stipulated before these rents are inclusive of domestic assistance from 07.00 till 20.00 hours, a gardener who also takes care of the swimming-pool, security on the property and a helpdesk assistant.
Our typical Balinese boat with outboard engine, which can be found on the little beach next to our villa, can also be used by you (without further rights or obligations).

(It stands to reason that fuel and lubricating oil expenses are paid for by you as user).

Because of the fact that our holiday villa forms part of a small project of 4 holiday villas, security is present both night and day. Moreover we have a helpdesk which is represented by Sudi. There is also a private chauffeur at your disposal who, at your request and on payment, can drive you all over the island to show you all the beauties that Bali has to offer. Massage at home for about 7 euros is also on offer and you shouldn’t miss that “luxury”.

Domestic assistance means that Iluh starts at 07.00 until about 15.00. At noon Moni and her husband Ketut (who speaks excellent English) arrive and will stay until about 20.00, in any case till after dinner. So Iluh prepares your breakfast according to your wishes and also lunch, if necessary, together with Moni. Moni and Ketut prepare dinner according to your wishes.

These two lay and clear the table, make the beds, clean everything in and around the house and do the washing and ironing. Ketut takes care of both the swimming-pool and the garden. He also does odd jobs and repairs in and around the villa.

As you can see, complete care from early in the morning till after dinner in the evening .

The only thing you have to do is relax and enjoy our holiday villa, its surroundings and the island of Bali. Naturally, you will have to pay for your shopping yourself. You can buy what you need yourself in Singaraja or, alternatively, there is a delivery-service called Agrobis. In that case, you can ask Ketut to translate for you and have your order passed on. Mind, you are on Bali and not everything will go the way you are used to in your home country ! You can also send Ketut for some small errands and in that case, please give him some extra money ( 35,000 Rupia for example) to cover his petrol and other expenses.

We also have our private chauffeur Jos who will anyhow be waiting for you at the airport to take you to our holiday villa and who will take you back again to the airport when, sadly, your holidays are over.

What then are the costs for transport from and to the airport and the days you use transport e.g. to visit the island and/or do your shopping ?

Here’s a summary of costs and possibilities:

1) Transport from the airport to our holiday-home and afterwards from our holiday-home to the airport (approx. 3 hours’ drive) 2 x 50 euros = 100 euros per car. These costs are inclusive of driver and petrol.

2) Daytrips. 50 Euros per day incl. chauffeur and petrol (about 0.40 eurocents per litre) plus idr 50,000 (around 3.85 euros) gratuity for the driver. Daytrips include 10 hours, after that idr 60,000 for each additional hour, payable to the driver.

3) Short trips (maximum 3 hours, otherwise day tariff will apply) for shopping to Singaraja or Lovina: 30 euros incl. driver and petrol.

(You can also hand a list of necessities to the driver and send him on his way, in which case you won’t have to go with him)

Note: In fact Jos and Moni’s names are also Ketut but they have these nicknames which makes things easier for everyone.
